In recent weeks, CyberKnife Center of Chicago has enjoyed several opportunities to network with and support the cancer care community, patients, survivors and their families.
We attended the American Lung Association’s 2013 Chicago Fight for Air Climb. Nearly 900 participants climbed a total of 2,340 steps of the Presidential Towers in downtown Chicago in support of lung disease research. The event raised more than $280,000 to support research efforts aimed at ending lung disease.
In early March, our center was also among the 500 guests and volunteers celebrating the 100th birthday of the American Cancer Society at the 2013 Black and White Ball. The event raised more than $450,000!
Thanks to all who attended these events. We’re looking forward to supporting and participating in more spring events throughout our community!
