Community Event Roundup: CyberKnife Center of Chicago Participates in ALA Healthy Lung Expo and Ride Janie Ride

CyberKnife Center of Chicago has been making rounds all over the community! We enjoy every opportunity to reach out to residents in our area and connect with cancer patients and their families.

We caught up with locals at the American Lung Association’s 2013 Healthy Lung Expo. The event aims to inform patients and healthcare professionals about the latest trends, research and resources for lung disease. The expo featured an education program for healthcare professionals and a patient education program. Specialists in all aspects of lung health spoke on a variety of topics including lung cancer, COPD and asthma.

Our team also took part in the annual Ride Janie Ride Foundation event in early May. More than 400 motorcycle riders participated in the event, which provides financial assistance to those receiving cancer treatment. This year’s ride was their largest to date!

It was a pleasure meeting all who attended these events! We look forward to attending more community events throughout the year.
