CyberKnife Center of Chicago’s hospital partner, Elmhurst Memorial Hospital recently held their Annual Autumn Affair hosted by the Elmhurst Memorial Hospital Foundation. The proceeds from the event will go to the hospital’s new Center for Cancer Care, currently under construction on the hospital’s main campus next to the Center for Health.
The new center will bring all services and facilities related to cancer treatment under one roof, allowing patients to undergo testing, meet with their physician and receive treatment in the same place and possibly the same day. It will also offer a variety of space for patients to have their choice of complete privacy or a more community-like setting.
CyberKnife Center of Chicago will move to the new Center for Cancer Care location in 2013 along with an infusion center and radiation oncology services.
